Letters Column: The JLA Mail Room

Synopsis:
In the system of Mizar, Pallkan created devices on three different planets, Allamar, Ulisson, and Zomarr, which rendered helpless the beings on those worlds, but the device affecting each world was on one of the other planets.

Not initially realizing this, the members of the Justice League split into smaller teams to go to each world, they come back believing they have failed. Snapper Carr alerts them to a giant seemingly going on the attack, and arriving back from their respective planets at different times, some members of the League see the Spaceman protecting people form natural disasters when it had at first appears that he is a menace. This briefly gets the League fighting one another, until they realize that the failure to communicate is a result of the Spaceman being a robot controlled by a spaceship.

The space ship is revealed to be a "metal being," who takes on his true form to battle Superman, who binds his arms and legs and sends him hurtling into outer space.

The Justice League keeps Spaceman X in their souvenir room as a reminder that things are not always what they seem, as they also learned from their experiences on Allamar, Ulisson, and Zomarr.
