This leather-bound, limited edition hardcover was the original printing of the work. distributed directly by Byron Preiss Visual Publications to a select few individuals. Most of the recipients had in some way contributed to the publication of the work.

Colorist Alex Wald believes this edition was never offered for sale to the general public. However, his scans of the indicia establish a copyright date for the work (and therefore a start date of the title) of 1995.
