The Great Leap

Harvey Dent attracts Nightwingĺs attention by signaling him on top of a building in New York. It turns out that Harvey wants Nightwing to protect an old friend of his, Carol Bermingham. Carol witnessed some sort of action by a powerful corrupt individual and is likely to be targeted when testifying in court. To ensure that Nightwing would cooperate, Harvey Dent kidnapped two innocent people, refusing to give Nightwing information until he agreed. Nightwing does, and arrives in time to save a man and woman from being buried alive. Nightwing then saves Carol from a carload of corrupt FBI agents, and personally delivers her to her court case. After the hearing, she plans to leave by helicopter, but a masked sniper starts killing off her bodyguards. Nightwing glides in to save Carol as the burning helicopter plummets. Carol is safe, but unfortunately Nightwing is bloody and badly bruised from the wreckage.
