Synopsis:
After yet another argument with Blind Al about her present from Wade, which she doesn’t like very much, Wade simply ignores her and teleports away. He teleports to Queens, where he visits an imprisoned Typhoid Mary. He tries to explain to her that he actually plans to help her bring things back together, and help Mary face whatever demons she might have. Once he has released Mary, she kisses Wade. It’s her unique way to thank him, and make her understand who she really is. Thinking he’s heading into the right direction, Wade doesn’t notice the truth until Mary betrays him, and breaks his wrist! She takes the time Wade needs to heal to escape, mentioning that she’s going on another killing spree. After recovering, Deadpool manages to locate her downtown. There, he rescues a priest and a bystander from Mary. She mocks Wade for trying to be a hero, which he isn’t in her eyes. He’s a cold-blooded killer, like she is. She keeps hazing Wade, and he freaks out by it. He even fights and shoots her. After a while, he calms down. Mary gives up, as she has proven her point. Deadpool isn’t a hero. Devastated by his mistake, Wade tries to call out to some help by the watching bystanders, but nobody does anything. Wade thinks that nobody really wants to be a hero and takes off, leaving Mary behind. Meanwhile, Gerry remembers a time from his past when he was in Paris, talking to an old man about an episode of “the X-Files.” Elsewhere, Zoe Culloden departs to Chicago, where she plans on setting a few broken things right again. And at the same time, Weasel visits Blind Al once more, wanting to talk about Wade again
