Synopsis: Eleven year-old Harold Hansen discovers a spirit living in a condemned house who threatens to destroy him. Harold tricks the Spirit with a story about an invisible, axe-wielding guardian. After Harold escapes, he returns to warn the spirit that men have arrived to demolish the house. The Spirit initially attacks him, then lets him go upon realizing the veracity of the claim. Harold refers him to a shack near the cemetery. Weeks later, the Spirit realizes Harold is in danger, having been found by a venomous snake while exploring a cave. The Spirit destroys the serpent, claiming it is only because he detests snakes. From then on Harold visits the Spirit in the shack and brings him books, and the Spirit tells him that he is a fugitive from the World Spiritual Court, which found him guilty of crimes committed by another. He escaped as is pursued by Mr. Santana, the Spiritual Security Chief.
Eventually, Harold stops visiting, because he is romancing a girl named Mary. When the SPirit returns to his shack and finds Mr. Santana, though, he knows what to do...
Synopsis: Ernest Baxter, and employee of the Mister Frostee Comapny, drives his ice cream truck through a fog and finds himself at the castle of King Arthur. Initially threatened with death, Arthur realizes that he speaks of things of another culture, and is curious what is meant by "ice cream." Ernie suggests that Arthur eat ice cream, and Lancelot makes Ernie eat the sample first to assure that it isn't poison. Delighted, Arthur knights Ernie as Sir Baxter.
Ernie quickly becomes bored being subservient to Arthur when is ice cream is considered a rival to any thing Merlin can do. Arthur has sent for a foreign delegation for whom to serve the ice cream. Ernie, however, has decided to take up Lancelot's idea and put rat poison in the ice cream and take over as king. Merlin observes this, steals the rat poison, and shows Arthur what it does, telling him that he caught Sir Baxter ruminating about putting it in the ice cream.
Sir Baxter is nowhere to be found at the time of the banquet. Merlin serves the ice cream to the guests, but he has provided a gruesome addition...
