Preludes and Nocturnes

Dr. Destiny has stolen Dream's ruby. He holes up in a 24-hour diner for 24 hours, personally observing the results of the madness he has inflicted upon the patrons and employee there. He periodically observes the world going mad on the TV and he loves every minute of it. The people in the diner do more and more horrible things as the time goes on. Finally, Dream arrives to confront Destiny.
