Finally, the day has come for Angstrom Levy to put his project into gear. With all of his parallel selves hooked into the machine, he begins downloading their knowledge into his brain when Invincible bursts through a wall. Unfortunately for Mark, after he defeats the two Maulers in Levy's lab, a whole army of Maulers appear from parallel dimensions to beat the hell out of him. But, when Levy attempts to stop the download to prevent the Maulers from killing Mark, the building explodes, killing all of the Maulers except one and Angstrom, both of which are horribly disfigured now. Though, on the plus side, Angstrom's project worked and he now has the knowledge of a thousand universes inside him. Angstrom declares that he will destroy Mark for disfiguring him and disappears into another dimension where he can get medical treatment.
