Brief Lives

Dream and Delirium have dinner with their brother, Destruction, and his talking dog, Barnabas. There is much discussion of why Destruction abandoned his realm and duties, and what The Endless are truly responsible for. Delirium recounts their journey in her own way.
Destruction explains why people around them have been dying. He refuses to return to his realm or his family.
