Manifest Destiny

Drunk and alone on the streets of San Francisco, Ink is attacked by members of the Hellfire Cult. After taking them out, he informs them that they shouldn’t have wasted their time, he is not a mutant. 48 hrs earlier, test results confirm that Ink is not a mutant and he decides to leave the X-Men. Meanwhile, Cyclops sends the young X-Men to investigate Ink’s tattoo artist, Leon Nunez. While Sunspot and Moonstar confront Nunez, the other members look for clues at his shop. Later, they investigate an abandoned paintball arena, where they find several tattooed thugs that have been empowered. Believing they have the upper hand, the group reveal themselves only to find out that they are out powered and highly outnumbered. In San Francisco, a mysterious girl named Cipher introduces herself to Ink and lets him know that his team is in trouble.
