Synopsis:
Transcript of a July 22, 1978 discussion between TCJ's KIM THOMPSON and Marvel writer MARV WOLFMAN. In an introductory note, Thompson states the interview was Wolfman's idea and that it served as Wolfman's response to Thompson's scathing review of SPIDER-WOMAN #1 ("Incest in the Marvel Family" from TCJ #39). Thompson says much of the interview "revolves around points I raised in my review ... and at times it seemed more as if HE were interviewing ME." The 16-page interview covers a lot of ground and provides thoroughly engaging and informative reading even many years later.
