Kent returns after a two week absence, telling Melanie about his 'death' and where he has been; running into some eccentric people, like Grail, Zero, Jill, Masaaki (Tao), Juan (Magicman), Laura (Kyoki), and Kent's friend Clark (Magician), in Avalon, overseen by Ambrosia, the mysterious host that calls his guests the new 'Knights of Avalon'. Ambrosia names Kent 'Fist', and explains that the Knights are to keep the balance between Avalon and Mu in check. And just as soon as Ambrosia leaves his new Knights, the Master of Mu has his gargoyle and dead army strike at Avalon, while the Prince of Mu has the Shadowknights attack the new gods, separating them from the older Avalon Knights. Tao confronts Ambrosia about the 'truth' and the Knights' purpose, and Jill runs into a past she does not remember.

Originally titled "The Saturday Knights", the title was changed before publication began to avoid costly copyright and trademark disputes. Jack Hammer is co-creator and co-writer, but was mistakenly left out of the credits (which are listed at the end of the story).
