Synopsis: It’s just another day at the firehouse with Peter trying to blast Slimer for drinking the last beer. With Slimer saved at the last second, Peter gives up and heads out to get some more. However, slimy trouble is brewing in the firehouse; trouble pointing to Slimer. But, if Slimer is with Egon, how can he cause any mischief?
Notes: This story was split into two parts by the Spirit Guide entry.
Synopsis: The Ghostbusters discover that there are two Slimers running around the firehouse; one of them the one they know, the other causing all the recent trouble. One needs to be busted, but they can’t figure out which one. It looks like it’s up to Peter to save the day and his least-favorite Spud. Maybe he’d be better off in the containment unit…
Synopsis: Tuesday 12th April 1988
On a bust, Egon discovers an ancient form of fossilized plant-life and brings it back to the firehouse for some study. While eating dinner, the Ghostbusters soon realize their HQ is quickly becoming overgrown with various types of plant-life…that talks! Now they need to figure out how to get the primordial creature out of their home or learn to take up extreme gardening!
Synopsis: The Ghostbusters attempt to shoot a commercial for their business, only to have Slimer interrupt.
Notes: “Noises in the Night!” was done by then 15-year-old Christopher McRoberts, who won the chance through both Marvel UK and the TV show Surprise! Surprise! It would later be redrawn by a staff artist and reprinted in Marvel UK’s Real Ghostbusters 1989 Annual.
Synopsis: Egon is sleeping peacefully when he dreams about Ecto-1 driving off to deal with a spook messing around in a junk yard. He wakes up the next morning to find a full trap in the car. It was just a dream, right?
