The Transformers (1984) #9 - Dis-integrated Circuits!

Story Arc(s):    Add/remove story arcs to this issue

Synopsis:
The Autobots have been returned to working order, but they still don't have enough fuel left over from the Decepticon occupation of the Ark to mount a rescue effort for Optimus Prime. Buster Witwicky is trying his hardest to fill in for his father, and a strange power to manipulate machinery manifests itself in the garage. And Josie Beller checks herself out of the hospital to pay a visit to G.B. Blackrock in her new guise as Circuit Breaker.

After an announcement by Blackrock that he's planning on turning a newly-developed weapon on any giant robots he sees, Prowl dispatches Jazz as a peace emissary to help Blackrock see the Decepticons as the bad guys.

At the unveiling of Blackrock's new weapon, Circuit Breaker shows up to disrupt the display and turns her rage both on the attacking Decepticons and the Autobots who are trying to save the humans around them. After Starscream and Frenzy are barely repelled, Circuit Breaker agrees to leave Wheeljack and Jazz alone for the time being, but warns she won't be so leniant the next time.

Notes:
1st appearance of Josie Beller as Circuit Breaker.
