In Chicago a frightened man stumbles into the 1940's-style office of private investigator Sheila Trent. He tells her he is being pursued by an otherworldly creature and begs Miss Trent to investigate. She accepts the case and takes her first step out onto the slippery slope into the supernatural.
This comic contains 23 pages of very detailed artwork. The front and back covers feature full-color paintings by Edwind Nieves. The inside cover contains the issue credits and indicia with a photo-negative of Sheila Trent taken from the back cover. There are two pages of advertisements at the back of the comic, including one for DRACULINA MAGAZINE No. 23, as well as for other Draculina Publishing comics. The credits note the "Sheila Trent: Vampire Hunter" logo was designed by Steven C. Finlay.
