In addition to serving as a send up of BLOODSHOT (the then-popular title published by Valiant) this comic also spoofs Japanese monster movies, featuring a giant shutterbugging turtle named Camera and a grassy lizard dubbed Sodzilla: King of the Lawns. A fun read.

Sodzilla's muttering "hurm?" on page 21 is an in-joke, referring to the name of the studio founded by Allan Jacobsen and Keith Quinn.
