A Death in the Family (Batman)

Synopsis:
When Robin learns the location of his biological mother, he rushes off to find her without Batman's knowledge or assistance. Finding himself in a trap, Robin is savagely beaten by the Joker before being killed in an explosion. When Batman arrives on the scene, he is too late. Stricken with grief, Batman vows vengeance for Jason's death, but will Batman sink to the Joker's level?

Synopsis:
Jason Todd receives information indicating that his biological mother is currently residing in the Middle East. Against the advice of Batman, Jason departs to search for his mother. But little does he know that he is being set up by the Joker! Can Batman reach Jason in time to protect him from the cruel fate that awaits him?

Synopsis:
Jason Todd finally reunites with his estranged biological mother, but unfortunately for him, the Joker is also waiting for him. Captured by the Joker, Jason and his mother are savagely beaten by a crazed Joker. As a final insult, Joker arms a bomb linked to Jason and his mother. Can they possibly escape with their lives?

Synopsis:
Batman arrives too late to stop the bomb from detonating. Searching through the rubble, Batman finds Jason's mother, who reveals a startling piece of information before she dies in his arms. Searching for Jason, Batman finds his lifeless body. Heartbroken, Batman returns to Gotham City to mourn his fallen friend. When he arrives however, he learns the shocking identity of Iran's new UN Emissary.

Synopsis:
With his new political position granting him diplomatic immunity, there is nothing that Batman can do to bring Joker to justice legally. Seeking out vengeance in his own way, Batman hunts for a way to stop the Joker. Can Superman talk some sense into Batman before he commits the same crime as the Joker did, thus lowering himself to that level?
