In the custody of the US Army, Bruce Banner, thinking himself to be the Hulk, is experimented upon and studied by army scientists. Meanwhile, Betty meets a group calling themselves "the Headshop" who wish to gain revenge upon the Leader and hope that the Hulk will be able to help them. Breaking him out of custody, Banner throws himself upon a grenade thinking himself to be invulnerable.
