Synopsis:
Second issue entitled simply "1977" in which Marley and his team are hired by the local church and community board to fight off a "Xombie" plague brought on by a Warlocke named Amsterdamn just as the 1977 Black Out hits New York City.
Notes:
The issue continues the "cut-out" style of background rendering. There are "inside" references to George Romero, and Lucio Fulci's work, as well as key references to the '77 black out, such as the interrupted Mets game, and the filming of Richard Donner's Superman, both halted by the black out. The content is extremely explicit in regards to violence, and gore.
