Synopsis:
The mysterious figure manipulating past events for Spidey and the FF reveals himself as Kristoff Vernard. He asks for the group's aid in deposing Dr. Doom as Latveria's tyrant dictator once and for all. Not receiving the unified support he hoped for, Kristoff attacks the FF.
Ben Grimm and Spidey realize that Kristoff is more upset with feeling rejected by both Doom and his surrogate family (the latter when they were presumed destroyed by Onslaught but never finding him when they returned despite their efforts). With these conflicting emotions, Kristoff disappears to consider his destiny, leaving Spidey and the FF more of a family than ever.
