Just how many telepathic teleporters can there be? Spider-Man and Daredevil call in Nightcrawler to help them with this problem. He tells them that Frances is most likely the product of a Nazi genetic experiment to manufacture teleporting mutants. Frances must be the child of someone who was manipulated by the experiments.

Meanwhile, on the opposite roof, Frances tells Felicia about his life. He explains why he killed his brother and all of the sexual abuse that he was forced to undergo. He talks about their business of teleporting heroin into the bloodstream and his brother's attempt to dominate him through sex. After his story, Felicia tells him that she understands because she's been raped too.
