Synopsis:
Eons ago an enormous space craft arrives amid large-brained bipeds – ancestors of man. As it hovers above the ground, ten Celestials emerge – the First Host. Their mission is exploration and experimentation as they look potential intelligent life. Gammenon gathers several apes – pre-men – and takes them to the mother ship where Ziran the Tester takes one of the specimens and analyzes its DNA. He then alters the animal’s genetic blueprint and watches as the creature evolves into the prototype of the Deviant species. Ziran follows up with the same experiment on other specimens, and then releases these Deviants who flee underground and begin to generate a new race. Nezzar the Calculator does testing on some of the specimens to test for durability and longevity. The results of his experiments are a new breed – the forefathers of the Eternals. Finally, Oneg the Prober does his experiments. He instills in them a latent gene which will allow the creatures to slowly evolve into humans, who will dominate the planet. Weeks after their arrival, the Celestials leave to continue their mission on other worlds.
