Chelsea Nirvana, as Mighty Man, interrupts Ann Stevens’ funeral. While fighting him, Dragon discovers a Wicked Worm on Mighty Man’s neck, and then causes him to transform back into a starving, elderly, dying Chelsea Nirvana. Dart is then able to assume the powers and mantle of Mighty Man. Meanwhile, Darklord breaks into the Vicious Circle’s stronghold and kidnaps Baby Boom, the so-called ‘energy baby.’ After Dragon loses custody of Angel, he is attacked in a bar by Cesspool, who dies during the fight. Dart, as Mighty Man, proposes that she and Dragon launch a search for SuperPatriot.
