The short story "How I Draw Usagi Yojimbo" was originally published in Amazing Heroes (1981) #187 in 8 pages. The story has been revised and expanded to 12 pages for this edition. It is not included in the softcover release. The expanded version was later reprinted in The Art of Usagi Yojimbo (2004) and Usagi Yojimbo: The Special Edition (2010).
