Notes:
This is one of the few times any Doctor Who comic (regardless of country of origin) ever enjoyed an original painted cover. To be sure, Doctor Who Classic Comics frequently used painted covers, but they were largely done to specifically mimic a still photograph from the television show. In this case, the design is unique and story-relevant.

In 2008, this cover was used as the basis for a drawn, variant cover for Doctor Who Classics #3.
