Synopsis:
After being injured on the job, Rick Grimes wakes up from a coma in the hospital where he was treated. However, the hospital is deserted. He shambles around looking for a nurse but finds something very different. A horde of zombies. Fearing for his life, Rick returns home to see if his family is there, but they're not and he's hit in the head with a shovel. When he comes to, he finds himself in the neighboring house where a man and his son are living now that it's been abandoned. The man apologizes for the knock to the head and Rick takes him to the police station to share the wealth of a car and some guns for protection. Satisfied with Morgan's safety, Rick heads towards Atlanta in search of his family.
