Shadowy characters conspire against the Thunderbolts as their monocled leader orders to release some weapon named X-F3 on them. All the T-bolts minus Citizen V go on a day out around New York: Meteorite offers Jolt support when her new powers attract the onlookers; Techno joins a poker gamble in his Fixer persona; Atlas has a rendez-vous with Dallas Riordan, while Mach-1 and Songbird have a date on their own. When the X-F3 is identified by Jolt as a former Avengers foe, Citizen V demands Riordan access to their secret files. In the end, the monocled conspirer gets a call from a familiar fiend.
