Synopsis: Our "hero" Lazarus Churchyard returns and meets Alraune, a woman with a perchant for sleeping with dead men. After she takes Larazus home, he discovers her secret - the Grimoire of Sharp Tongue Action. Unwilling to be fed to it himself, Lazarus gives the book another sacrifice and thusly inherits a night club.
Synopsis: One year later and Lazarus Churchyard is still the proud owner of the bar. It does little to ease the fact that he's four hundred years old and wants to die. He recounts the story of Lucy, his "little sister" of a sorts and why he's named the bar Lucy's Drowning. The story also goes a long way towards explaining why Lazarus is so hard to kill.
Synopsis: Lazarus Churchyard returns to the bar featured in issue one four years later to see some familiar faces. But soon after, Lazarus begins to undergo a gender reassignment of sorts. A familiar face is behind the change and has malevolent plans for Lazarus' fate. An battle ensues that quickly engulfs the bar.
Synopsis: In the issue's final story, Lazarus escapes Savoy (England) to Amsterdam. There he meets Miraenia, a female cop with a chorus of her own to do her detecting. Miraenia, it seems, is blissfully unaware of just how much Lazarus actually kills. When she stumbles upon him in the act, Lazarus is forced to move on again to avoid the long arm of the law.
