Synopsis:
Jennifer Marlowe is a reporter with an interesting topic of fascination for her exposÚs... rich, reclusive hermits. She scours the country and becomes an expert on the rich and eccentric who retreat from all contact with the world for some special reason, from the spurned lover to agoraphobia sufferers. Marlowe continues her search looking for one particular hermit whom she knew 20 years ago. After a violent run-in when she meets the hermit, she falls prey to his same demons.

Synopsis:
Crawfish Cobbs thought he was marrying the woman of his dreams until after the cermony. Barely on the road to Cobbs' cottage, Matilda was already laying into Crawfish and as she was a larger woman (and Crawfish was small in stature), he quickly bowed to her every wish and desire. Crawfish finally reached his boiling point when he was forced to continually shave with a straight razor (he only used electrics before) until he was clean shaven.

Synopsis:
The Apex Rope Company has just lost yet another customer due to inferior materials. Clyde Dean has words with his partner in the business, Abner Slocum. The partners come to blows until Abner knocks Clyde upside the head with a crowbar. Looking at a murder rap, Abner stages a suicide, making a hangman's noose from the Apex rope they made. Abner leaves and returns later with a police officer under a false pretense to discover the body of Clyde. But Abner comes back to work for a very shocking discovery!

Synopsis:
Jeff Brock is a fantastic salesman on the street... if only he had a product the public wanted. The mechanical sports cars he had were a bust. As he cuts down an alley to avoid the police, he sports a a tiny mechanical man walking down the alley. Spotting no apparent owner, Jeff finds another seven of the men and puts them in his case. He quickly sets up shop on another corner and promptly sells all but three of the mechanical men before the cops interrupt his pitch again. During the night, another five men appear, and Jeff moves to sell them in the morning. An angry public shows up to say that the men they bought yesterday disappeared. Jeff takes a quick duck down an alley to avoid the crowd and soon discovers the true mature of his mechanical men.
