Synopsis: Rock Zucco has been at sea eighteen days, supervising workers in the boiler room of the ship. He's been a slave driver, having them shovel coal, and keeping the fire burning. When the men try to take a rest, Zucco confronts them and ends up killing one with a left cross. After covering up his act, the ship arrives back at port, and Zucco heads home to his plain wife, Gertie. While glancing out the window, Zucco spots a "real dish" and schemes to get his wife out of the picture. The "real dish" has other plans however.
Synopsis: A young, aspiring writer only has $5 to spend on a used typewriter at the local pawn shop. He purchases an old, typewriter that has seen better days, fixes it up, and decides to test it by copying a news story from the local paper. As he copies, the scene described in the story plays out in pictures before his very eye... but with one startling fact. The typewriter shows the "truth of the world" but will lose its magic if used for evil or greed. The young man copies many more stories to see what really happened but without any success in selling stories. Soon, he copies a story about a treasure hunter and he spots the treasure that was left behind. A quick trip to the treasure teaches the young man a valuable lesson.
Synopsis: Jane Bryant is a nurse summoned to the small, secluded town of Hagstone to work in the local sanitarium. When she arrives at the hospital, she is greeted by Doctor Brimm and escorted to her bedroom. In the morning, she meets the patients including Thorn. Thorn was trapped in a mining cave-in and claims four-armed men are going to take over the surface of the earth. Is he mad or really telling the truth?
Synopsis: Sam Shore is your normal everday postman until he drops a package from one of the public dropboxes that moans when it hits the ground. He looks over the package for anything suspicious, and Shore sees that on the reverse-side of the package is written: "Handle With Care, Contents: One Human". Shore's postmaster has him investigate the strange packages with that marking to discover the truth behind them.
