This is a version of the following issue:
The Flash (1987) #70 - Gorilla Warfare, Conclusion: Quite a Head on His Shoulers

Story Arc(s):    Add/remove story arcs to this issue

Wally West commands Green Lantern Hal Jordan's ring to return them to normal. Hal discovers that the meteorite has given Rex the Wonder Dog the ability to speak, along with some mental abilities.

Wally quickly scours Africa and discovers the hidden Gorilla City. The heroes are joined by Bobo. They are attacked by Grodd's army, but Rex and Bobo succeed in reducing Grodd to a normal gorilla.

Part 4 of 4
Continued from "Green Lantern (1990) #31"

Bobo, then working at the Bureau of Amplified Animals, would later be known as Detective Chimp.

This is a rare instance where someone other than a Green Lantern was able to use a Green Lantern ring--in this case, it was Wally West.
