Synopsis:
Green Lantern's Justice League teammate The Flash (Barry Allen) goes on vacation to Coast City with his girlfriend, reporter Iris Allen. Iris plans to interview the "famous" test pilot Hal Jordan for the Central City newspaper, and Barry hopes to meet up with his JLA teammate. However neither realizes they seek the same person, since Green Lantern is really Hal Jordan.
Meanwhile Hal returns to Earth from a space mission, anxious to get home quickly. He flies so fast he exceeds light-speed and enters another dimension, crash-landing on the alien planet Spectar. The people there advise him their planet exists in the same space as Earth, in another dimension. They help him return back home, but only as a means of invading GL's dimension by robbing GL and the Flash of their speed.
Once back on Earth, Hal has no memory of this incident. He heads to the beach and meets up with Carol Ferris, Tom Kalmaku and his wife Tegra and Barry Allen and Iris West.
After venturing out alone, Hal begins acting irrationally. Tom asks their new friend (and police scientist) Barry to watch over Hal. Barry secretly follows Hal into a cave, where Hal dons his GL uniform, thus revealing his secret ID to Barry. Soon thereafter, Barry begins acting strangely too, as they have been possessed by the invaders from Spectar. When freed from their spell, Hal and Bary make quick work of them.
Since Barry now knows Hal's secret ID, he decides to reveal his to Hal, after which they rejoin the beach party with Iris, Carol, Tom and Tegra.
