Synopsis:
Doctor Boyce is accused of murder while on an away mission to provide much-needed medical relief. The Vulcan Ambassador to the planet, Toluk, offers his services to Boyce as legal counsel. As a matter of course in preparation for the trial, Toluk mind melds with Boyce and discovers a compelling truth about Boyce's involvement in the murder.
