Infernal Devices

Jon Valor, the ghost pirate, enlists Jack's aid to clear him of the crime he falsely hung for. He recounts his life as the black pirate and the war he waged against Spain in the name of England. After the two nations ceased their war against one another, Valor moved to the new world where he was framed for the murder of his son.

Meanwhile, Dr. Pip hires a supervillain mercenary to kill Jack. After getting a tip about Pip's new hideout, Jack arrives in the new place only to discover himself in a trap sprung by Copperhead.
