Hal Jordan finds himself in captivity with Brik, Kworri, and the pumice people recruit Aa. Flicker and a merchant indicate that they plan to sell them to the Quahoogans.

During an interrogation, Hal learns that the merchant must know the whereabouts of Star Sapphire.

Hal breaks free of Flicker's mind control and proceeds to tear the ship apart. The Green Lanterns are ejected into space. They follow the ship hoping to find Star Sapphire, even though Aa disapproves Hal's use of his ring for personal vendettas.
