Synopsis: From afar, the Quarks are monitoring the movements of the TARDIS, looking for an opportunity to strike against their new enemies, the Doctor and Jamie. Towards that end, they have developed a new species of killer wasps. Hyper-intelligent and deadly, the wasps have the advantage of being airborne, agile and easy to mass produce.
When the Doctor lands on the planet Gano, the Quarks seize the opportunity to unleash their giant wasps . . .
Notes: One really must wonder how Quarks, from an entirely different galaxy, would've seized upon wasps, a thoroughly ordinary Earth species, as a test subject for genetic manipulation. Especially since the Doctor and Jamie had just expunged them from Earth in the previous story. How would they even know what wasps were, much less known their DNA sequencing?
