Synopsis:
A modern day sailor washes up on the shores of a desert island. There, he encounters vikings. When he wonders how they got there, they explain that they were marooned long ago by the curse of their captain.

The Mighty Gundar had once led them, but when once they questioned his orders, they encountered his full, terrible wrath. He fought them all fiercely, but in the end decided the fight wasn't really all that necessary. He instead left the ship in one of the lifeboats, and cursed his crew to "spend an eternity alone", never to return home unless he removed the curse. Odin apparently heard Gundar's plea, sealing his crew's fate.

Just as the lead viking had finished relaying this tale, the whole crew vanished in front of the modern-day sailor's eyes. Somehow the curse had been lifted.

The shipwrecked sailor doesn't puzzle on the matter for long. As he buttons up his shirt, we see its name patch come into view for the first time: Gundar. This descendant of Gundar thus realizes that "nothing in this world happens without a reason—not even being shipwrecked on a lonely isle".
