Story Arc(s):    Add/remove story arcs to this issue

Zuras and Thena discuss a series of time discrepencies appearing, including a Neanderthal man. Zuras attributes this to Zakka, the Tool-Master, a Deviant. They are joined by Karkas and the Reject. Zuras tasks the three of them to put an end to the problems caused by Zakka.

In a large American city, the landlady Mrs. Papp comes to collect rent from Mr. Zachary, who is working on a “foreign” camera. After the landlady leaves, Zachary uses his “camera,” which is actually a time projector, to bring a warrior to him from centuries long past. Mr. Zachary enjoys the ensuing chaos, and is revealed as Zakka.

Using her power of illusion, Thena brings a disguised Karkas and Reject to a mid-town hotel. Using a psycho-band provided by Zuras, Thena detects the presence of a time displaced alien.

On the floor above them, Jack the Ripper stalks a victim. The Reject arrives in time to stop Jack, who disappears before he can be killed.

Karkas, who is waiting in reserve, is attacked by two warriors from the past (one of who is called Attila). As he hurtles them out the window, they vanish. Karkas, who has dropped his illusion and resumed his true self, causes a panic among the other hotel guests. He is confronted by Zakka who uses a shock-pistol to badly wound Karkas.

Thena and the Reject rush to Karkas. Thena replaces his true self with the illusion of a human, and replaces his shattered cells.

Zakka returns to his apartment. Using the time projector, he reaches into ancient Deviant history to bring forth Tutinax, the Mountain Mover. Unfortunately for him, Tutinax appears in his apartment.

Thena, Karkas, and the Reject arrive at the apartment building only to find Zakka dead at the hands of Tutinax, who attacks them. Thena frightens him off with the Bolts of Zuras.

Thena restores the Reject’s true image, and the three of them head out to find Tutinax. They find him terrorizing the city. Thena transports all of them to an area of the city where the Reject and Tutinax can battle without danger to humans.

Before Tutinax can throw a building at both the Reject and Karkas, he vanishes back to his own time.
