Matthew greets Tefé in the Dreaming, where she also makes contact with the boy who was slain by "the Bad Man" and became part of Les Perdu. When she destroys the family cat, Swamp Thing goes into the Dreaming for assistance. While there, Abby goes to the supermarket. She leaves behind Tefé for a brief moment to be properly introduced to Troy Washington, the boyfriend Carl met at Mardi Gras, which results in the Bad Man taking Tefé.
