Letters Column: Manhunter

Mark Shaw begins his career again as Manhunter, this time as a bounty hunter of masked villains. The story opens up with Shaw tracking and capturing The Penguin for stealing the necklace called "The Roc's Eggs". Meanwhile, a villain named Dumas assassinates Bishop Damian M'Butu for a client named Herr Van Damm. Later, Shaw reunites with his family in Connecticut to celebrate his sister's passing of the bar exam. After a private moment with his family recounting his years from being a public defender, to a masked hero, to a villain, and back to a hero again, he leaves to go back home to track his next bounty -- Captain Cold. He captures him during an attempted hijacking of a major drug deal, but must deal with local media hound Howard Baxter-Foote. The story concludes with the introduction of Olivia Vancroft who is making arrangements to obtain Manhunter's mask for her vast collection of superhero masks.
