Synopsis:
In 1985, young Geoff McHenry was "kidnapped" by his long-missing great uncle Buck. In actuality, Buck was taking Geoff on a "walkabout", the rite of passage for a Geomancer. In 1992, the Earth screams of the "sun-demon" who killed the world. Linking this to Solar, Harada has Gilad, the Eternal Warrior, hunt Solar down. But when Geoff gets to Solar first, he realizes that Solar may not be the one they need to fear.

Seeking to regain his strength, he unleashes some nuclear energy and transports himself to space and opens up a wormhole to feed on a small star. Returning to Earth fully powered, Dr. Seleski immediately seeks out Gayle.
