Escaping from Earth-1 in 1978, the Angle Man lands on Earth-2 in 1945. As Angle Man tries to use his Angler to stop the E-2 Wonder Woman, he inadvertantly causes the E-1 Wonder Woman to be drawn to where they are.
After the two Wonder Women defeat Angle Man, E-1 WW uses her lasso to cause E-2 WW, Steve and Etta to forget they know about the multiple Earths and returns to Earth 1.

Notes:
When E-1 Wonder Woman returns to Earth-1, the series again begins chronicling her adventures. (Tales of the 1940s Earth-2 Wonder Woman had been told since issue #228)
