Cloak and Dagger travel through India on their way back to America. They hide aboard a ferry crossing the Ganges River when the crowded boat capsizes. The heroes watch helplessly as people drown, but they also witness the light of the dieing form floating discs. Dagger stares at the radiance with awe and discovers that she can see the glowing essences from within Cloak’s dark dimension. They follow the discs to a temple where they fill meditating worshipers with an overwhelming sense of ecstasy. Dagger shares their joy by dancing and releasing her power with abandonment, but Cloak worries that using the essence of the dying may be obscene. Before Ty can react, a touch of intense light returns him to his human form. It is a gift from the Lord of Light – Tandy’s missing father.

Cloak and Dagger are returning to the United States after their quest ended in Cloak & Dagger (2nd Series) #11.
