Synopsis: Cloak and Dagger return to the Holy Ghost Church. Cloak protects the abandoned place of worship by partially materializing to appear as a phantom to attackers. The scare tactic works while Dagger dances blissfully inside. With cloths and a credit card from her step-father, she decides to venture outside as a normal person. Cloak suddenly reverts to his human form allowing him to join his partner for a trip to the market. They enjoy the experience, but it ends short when Ty falls asleep as Nightmare sets his diabolical plan in motion. He appears to the sleeping teenager as a captive of the “predator” within. The trickster offers extended periods of normalcy if Cloak brings him Doctor Strange. The dark vigilante realizes it might be a trap, but the bargain’s lure may be too strong.
Synopsis: Doctor Strange and Rintrah arrive in Hong Kong, one of the new centers of darkness surfacing around the world. They find a crime scene that may be related to the rising tide of black magic. Assisting the police allows the Sorcerer Supreme to get close to victim and the confused attacker. He realizes that the Wings of Needless Sorrow are to blame, but he uses the Eye of Agamotto to find two areas that need immediate attention. He rushes to reclaim the dark artifact before it can cause more harm while he sends Rintrah to stop a mass suicide of people under the relic’s influence. They succeed in stopping the threats, but Doctor Strange hands his Eye of Agamotto to Rintrah. Stephen feels he is no longer pure enough.
