Synopsis: A religious fanatic throws himself from the top of a skyscraper in a show of faith that Spider-Man will save him. As he falls, the story flashes back to reveal his history as Kenny, a bit character from previous issues. First as a Thorite who encounters Miguel soon after his transformation into Spider-Man. Next he appears as the founder of a sect of Spiderites who is saved from death at the hands of Fenris by the intervention of Spider-man. Interwoven are scenes of Kenny and his wife Loreen, who objects to his fanatacism. As Kenny nears the end of his fall, we see Miguel in the crowd. How can Spidey save him now?
Synopsis: Continuing from the previous story, Loreen is at a church praying for her husband Kenny when the Net Prophet (NP) appears, looking for Father Jennifer. Loreen convinces him to save her husband from his reckless nature. NP teleports and saves Kenny just before he hits the ground by teleporting him to the ocean to dissipate his downward momentum. NP hauls Kenny out of the waves and tells him he's a fool for worshiping people with powers, that they are only human too.
Synopsis: An Alchemax deep-water team uncovers a cold war era Soviet submarine. Tyler brings in Miguel to hack the old tech on the sub. Miguel notices missing equipment while working on translating the info on the computers. Miguel discovers that the missing equipment are stasis containers holding Soviet super-soldiers, which Tyler and crew are trying to revive, unaware of the danger. Miguel does a quick change and arrives as Spidey to combat Chernobyl, Knight of the Soviet People!
