Hobgoblin Revealed

Synopsis:
Peter Parker and the rest of Daily Bugle staff attend the funeral of Ned Leeds. Ned died during the vents of Spider-man Vs Wolverine. Richard Fisk also attends the funeral. Fisk was working with Leeds to bring down his father The Kingpin.

The Hobgoblin pays a visit to the Rose's penthouse. The Rose lets him know that the Kingpen has a file containing his true identity. The Kingpen plans on giving that file to Spider-Man.

After the events of Spider-Man/Wolverine book Peter wants to give up the mantle of Spider-Man. Wolverine convinces him that it was not his fault that Leeds died.

The Rose sends his partner Alfredo to infiltrate the Hobgoblins lair. Alfredo is discovered and is chased into the same location Wolverine and Spider-Man are. The Rose believing all his friends are dead runs screaming out of the room.

The events in this story take place during Amazing Spider-Man 289
