Synopsis:
Spider-Man and The Watcher, with a guest appearance by Captain America.
On Christmas Eve Peter attends a holiday party at Aunt May's boardinghouse. After one of the residents, Arthur Chekov, bemoans to Peter about his wayward granddaughter Bette, Peter's spider-sense begins "buzzing so hard it hurts." He lies to Aunt May to effect an escape and upon stepping outside he is "zapped" into his Spider-Man costume and stands face to face with the Watcher, whom he doesn't recognize and who refuses to speak a word, only handing Spidey a strange gem in which he sees Bette Chekov's face. He understands he is to go to her aid, and sets off to find her (receiving an encouraging word along the way from Captain America).
