Visiting the grave of their son, Dragon and Rapture argue about their lack of trust for one another but eventually settle their differences. Unknown to them, their child is not dead, but in the hands of the Covenant of the Sword. Dragon visits the grave of Phil Dirt and is attacked by one of the leeches that previously caused him to rampage throughout the city. However, his healing factor allows him to fight off the influence and crush the leech.

This story takes place following The Savage Dragon #33. This version was available only if you were subscribed to Wizard Magazine while ordering this issue.

Folks all over town have suddenly become very negative towards Mighty Man and boy broadcaster Bobby Berman is fired as a result of constantly reporting on the hero. He transforms into Mighty Man to investigate, only to discover that the Wicked Worms have escaped from prison and are controlling everyone. Mighty Man defeats the horde of Wicked Worms and Bobby gets his job back.
