Synopsis: Jonah saves Drake and Caroline from the infected Stukenborg. Caroline's personal connection to the Grendel program is revealed in an argument with Drake. Following another earthquake at Cassius, Caroline assigns Drake to take Jonah and investigate. Drake stirs up anti-Grendel sentiment amongst the crew to foment insurrection against Caroline. Caroline tries to bring Jonah out of his shell. The scout team investigates an unusual tunnel at Cassius and discover the source of the earthquakes. Jonah saves Drake from an explosion. Caroline goes too far in reaching out to Jonah. Jonah is ambushed by the insurrectionists and strung up in the snow to be eaten by wolves.
