Splinter gives leonardo some tea to induce a vision. Leonardo vision places him in the fuedal japan era. A hobo-ish man is seen in the field with samurai warriors chasing him. Leonardo engages an begins to lose control over his actions. Returning to a near by villiage his "family" lives. He puts his swords away and lives a family life. Waking the next day finding his swords were stolen. The head shogun has invited him in his house and belittled him. To cast him out as a fate worse than death, to live in shame.
