Synopsis:
A few years have passed. Some integration of the WolfRiders with the SunVillagers (mostly Woodlock's family) has begun. One day, while out tutoring his son Dart in archery with his whip-bow HUMANS! appear. After hearing their story, Cutter decides that if there are other tribes of humans and there was another tribe of Elves he'd like to find out if there are any more Elven tribes and that he alone will go search for them.

Skywise accompanies him and their 2 wolf-friends as well some zwoots for pack-animals. They trek back across the burning waste, see that the Cavern of Golden Light has been cleared, but there is no sign of the Trolls. Then they witness the destruction of the holt-forest. Unbeknowns to the 2 Elves and 2 Wolves they are being watched...
